La Bresse - Le Hohneck (900-1350m). All types of skiing - 38 runs - 60 km.
Ski areas: La Bresse, Hohneck (La Schlucht, Le Collet, Retournemer), Le Lispach and Le Brahant. 33 lifts. Snow canons. Nocturnal skiing.

Skiing in the Munster Valley:
Resorts include Schnepfenried (1070 -1250 m), Tanet (1000 -1280m), Gaschney (990 -1280m). Near to Hohneck. You can go cross-country skiing at 1150-1250m at the Trois Fours (near to col de la Schlucht and the Route des Crètes) where you will see great views of the Munster valley, Black Forest and the Alps.

Le Bonnehomme (860-1235m)

Lac Blanc - Col des bagenelles: Alpine skiing (850-1230m) Snow canons and nocturnal skiing. A mecca for x-country skiing in Alsace. Bagenelles (900-1060m) in the Val d'Argent. 2 lifts. 7 x-country skiing tracks and snow-shoe walks.

Gerardmer (750-1150m) official site. All types of skiing. 20 runs covering 40km. Ski areas: Mauselaine, Chaume Francis and Grouvelin. 20 lifts. Snow canons and nocturnal skiing.

Xonrupt - Longemer
Alpine skiing at Le Poli (2 lifts) and La Balveurche (1 lift). X-country skiing at La Moinaudière (municipal site)

Markstein (1247m). All types of skiing. 14 runs. Map of ski-runs.

Grand Ballon (1020-1424 m). Alpine and x-country skiing.

Saint Maurice sur Moselle (900-1250m)
Alpine and x-country skiing. Ski areas include: Rouge-Gazon (5 lifts), La Jumenterie and Ballon d'Alsace (11 lifts).

La Planche des Belles Filles

Ventron - Cornimont (900-1110m)
Alpine skiing. Ski areas: Ermitage du Frère Joseph (6 lifts) and x-country skiing: Circuit de Cornimont Brabant.

Bussang. All types of skiing. Ski areas: La Bouloie (3 lifts) and Larcenaire (4 lifts). Snow canons and nocturnal skiing.
